Department of Information Technology at Northern Samar Colleges is an academic-oriented, student-centered department. The department promotes world class research with absolute commitment to excellence in teaching.
The VISION of the IT department is to become a world-class academic-oriented, student-centered Department of Information Technology that:
- Provides an education of the highest quality for undergraduate students
- Provides state-of-the-art facilities and competent, professional faculty
- Promotes partnerships with industry and community
- Fosters high-quality scholarly research.
The MISSION of the IT department is to:
- Equip graduates with the knowledge and expertise to contribute significantly to the information industry and to continue to grow professionally
- Partner with local and national entities and organizations in education, research and development
- Engage both faculty and students in scholarly research activities for holistic and academic growth
- Nurture graduates’ interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills so that they may provide vision and leadership within the information industry’s diverse culture.
