VISION
The College of Education is envisioned as a center of excellence in advance professional education teacher’s competencies programs in the Basic Education, Information Technology, Hotel and Hospitality Management, and Office Administration.
MISSION
The College of Education is committed to provide relevant quality education and training program in the professions in order to accelerate the development of high level professional teachers and leaders who will be catalysts of local, regional and national resource development.
GOALS
- Enhance the competencies of educators, business management and technology leaders, practitioners and civil servants.
- Contribute to the advancement of knowledge of teacher’s technological competencies through relevant and innovative research and educational development work.
- Promote positive values and attitudes necessary for proactive, progressive and transformative teacher’s leadership in school and community organization and management.
OBJECTIVES
- Offer quality and excellent curricular programs relevant to the changing conditions of life in the local, regional and national needs and requirements of education, business and entrepreneurial activities, industry, and public service.
- Nurture a teacher’s quality culture to encourage and stimulate innovative educational training of activities as well as utilize an improved quality of life of the individual in the family, school, and community.
- Undertake responsive teacher-training programs and services for the individual and community development and transfer of technology for dynamic transformation and progress of communities.
- Establish and maintain linkages and/or partnership and collaboration undertakings.
- Engage in effective and efficient production of activities for enrichment of teacher-learning continuum anchored on research and extension program development.
